Introductory Remarks
Dear Zesters,
In Monday’s post, Status Report:0555;102025;LUKE;N;DEASY, I reflected on a week plus of normal eating, exercise, emotions, and control. I thought it was comprehensive and robust. Moving on!

This chart shows the age when women giving birth in the past month—and I think the overall point is that births are becoming later and later—which isn’t very surprising and is pretty well known. But it’s just kind of stark to actually see. I think as I start to mature and enter an age where I’m theoretically thinking more realistically about having kids and stuff, it’s just something that keeps coming up. Like this tension between prime-biology feeling like it in my rearview while prime-societal-positioning or something feels like it’s ahead of me. And I think like dynamics of attraction and partnership and romance are sort of ground up within that tension and idk what beef will come out on the other side (if that makes any sense). But, I also acknowledge that this chart really has nothing to do with me, and it’s about women, and that women have the right to do what they want. Just something I find interesting, I guess.
